Red Rapture

I’ve been here about five days and i haven’t adjusted very well to the time difference. Every morning I get up at 6am or earlier and by 8pm, i’m tired after dinner and go straight to bed. Last night they were showing The Return Of The King on tv so i struggled to stay up until 10.30pm but gave up and missed the whole ‘Frodo throwing ring into Mordor fires plus finale’ chapter.

Anyway yesterday we discovered this gargantuan outlet mall on the outskirts of Philly. Spent the better part of the afternoon there going from shop to shop even though the complex was unsheltered and it was raining. But it had Sony and Coach outlets… where we spent a lot of time in. Then we stopped at Walmart on the way back to the resort and I discovered it has such a mind-boggling variety of hosiery!!! To think that I ordered so many pairs from Amazon when I coulda got them all from Walmart… So that was another day of shopping. It was initially supposed to be a touristy day spent in Philly, going to the Farmers’ Market, maybe taking in the sights, before going to Lancaster to visit the resident Amish. But since it was raining and it was a Sunday, meaning rest day for the Amish, we went shopping instead.

Today we drive to Atlantic City, another outlet mall on the Board Walk.
